Policy 2: Complaints Against Certification Process and Irregularities

(revised December 2023)

AICTI seeks to be fair and consistent to all applicants during the process that leads to a certification decision. However, situations may arise in which either AICTI or the applicant may dispute some aspect of the certification process. In the event that a certification process irregularity or some other dispute occurs, AICTI staff will explain the issue to the applicant(s) involved, request a response from the applicant(s) to resolve the issue, review and then issue an initial decision.  Applicants may request a review of this decision by the AICTI Chief Staff Executive, and a final appeal to the AICTI Board of Governors.  All decisions of the AICTI Board of Governors are final and non-appealable.
